The Repowering Engineer is part of the Engineering and Construction team and reports to the VP Europe, Project Management. The Repowering Engineer will conduct regular visits to the France solar PV plants and complete site visit reports which include witness testing, commissioning protocols and monitoring and evaluating solar PV plant performance. They will identify issues with underperforming solar PV assets, finding solutions by either fixing electrical issues onsite, adapting new equipment or using their construction knowledge to implement changes with the France Engineering and Construction team. They will assist the quality, construction and health and Safety of the plants._
The Repowering Engineer will ensure each solar PV project meets compliance and ESG requirements, detect any noncompliance and manage the company document control procedures. This includes supporting permit and approval processes for assigned projects, engineering deliverables, contractor requests for payments, schedule updates, contract changes and approving contractor documentation for completed projects. They will also ensure policies are implemented, maintained and any claims are managed effectively._
