Misión:

As Procurement CoE Specialist, on a temporary basis, you will be part of the Procurement CoE team, a supporting function under Procurement organization.


The Procurement CoE team is responsible for Source-to-Pay processes, acting as BPO of Procurement tools and systems, continuous improvement, data analysis, category management support, contract management, savings tracking and budget control, supplier risk, compliance, performance & relationship management, including sustainable procurement program.

It is also responsible for the non-Financial Information to be included in the Annual Accounts of the company and the Annual Report regarding suppliers and subcontractors.


The mission of the CoE team is to consolidate the Procurement function as a strategic partner and key advisor to the business by delivering value to both internal and external stakeholders, elevating the procurement team in a growing organization, maximizing the value of the interactions of our key suppliers, building an ethical, resilient & sustainable supply chain, ensuring that the risks associated are identified and properly managed, and providing continuous sourcing and contract management practices improvement.

The CoE team works closely with Procurement team members, internal stakeholders and suppliers to also support the Source-to-Pay (S2P) daily activities and its continuous improvement to ensure business alignment, process efficiency and tool adoption.


Funciones y responsabilidades:

Tactical activities

  • Prepare analysis, reports, and dashboards to identify opportunities (preferred vendors, supplier base optimization, contract strategies, red flag reports, budget deviation).
  • Deliver market intelligence services to Lead Buyers through external partners, analyzing requests, improving outcomes as required and ensuring that recurrent commodities dashboards & newsletters are received.
  • Support Lead Buyers in implementing sourcing & contract best practices, in performing category analysis and potential strategies
  • Support the Know-YourSupplier due diligence process during onboarding and support the risk monitoring in our recurrent supply base
  • Support the procurement Green Journey participating in committees and specialized forums with the purpose to improve sustainable practices of Almirall.
  • Build the supplier engagement program and supplier capability building to align with Almirall ESG goals and strategy
  • Audit and analysis of own processes and policies to ensure full compliance and detect possible improvements and efficiencies.
Operational support & continuous improvement in process / tools:

  • Expert of S2P process being the person who knows and understands more in deep the process including tasks, responsibilities, existing incidents, system enhancements and reporting, documenting those as necessary through handbooks, protocols, SOPs or policies applicable to all Almirall Group Companies (Global)
  • Solve functional doubts regarding procurement processes & tools from internal stakeholders (All Market Companies, R&D, Industrial and HQ) or suppliers across the board, performing customer care operational activities to solve procurement issues raised.
  • Execute actions to ensure process and tools adoption, ongoing communication and training for internal customer groups, lead buyers and suppliers as necessary.

Formación:


  • Degree in Business, Finance, Law or Engineering (mandatory)

Knowledge and Experience:


Mandatory:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Spanish and English, preferably as a first language or to bilingual standard
  • Demonstrate a good track record on SourcetoPay processes
  • Experience in implementing and driving compliance of procedures, processes, systems & tools.
  • Knowledge on procurement technologies (SAP-Ariba preferably or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Nice to have:


  • Knowledge on Power BI
  • Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements at ERP project implementation environment will be appreciated
  • Experience in a Procurement team as Category Manager or Tactical Buyer will be appreciated
  • Project Management skills
  • Good know how of the pharmaceutical industry
