The Position

Our Marine Products Department in Barcelona is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team

About the Location and the Department

The position will be located at Terrassa office, which is in the Santa Margarita industrial park.

You will join our Terrassa warehouse team and you will be responsible for warehouse activities during receipt, storage and picking and packing of products.

You will also be responsible for performing inventory counts according to agreed frequency. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Required Experience and Skills

• Secondary school education.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid license to drive warehouse forklifts.
• Systematic and accurate nature.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Basic English both written and spoken, will be a plus.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel in particular)
• Experience in similar functions.
• Safety Courses for handling of Dangerous Goods will be an advantage.

What You Will Be Doing

On an average day you will work on maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe and secure condition, at all times.

You will perform incoming goods control (products, quantities and labels).

You will participate in stock counts and report reasons for stock discrepancies.

Your duties will include picking and packing of orders for delivery according to the pick lists and within the required time frames; transport packed goods to correct shipment location in the warehouse/dispatch area and loading and unloading trucks.

It will be required that you ensure that products are packed and segregated correctly according to transport and storage regulations.

Finally, you will be responsible for keeping operations in line with QHSSE practices as laid down by the company.
