The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Categorizes packages of work to be done by Enterprise Capabilities. Elaborates project execution plans and in combination with the Home Office defines the delivery strategy, including composition of design teams.
  • Reviews contracts, scope documents, and available data for the project, and establishes schedules and budgets for compliance with project requirements and contract obligations.
  • Partners with other EC offices to ensure delivery and execution challenges are understood.
  • Responsible for leading a design team working for internal clients, integrating resources from different EC offices (Spain, Poland, India, etc.).
  • Client liaison, predominantly internal client, and Project / Design Management including program and resource monitoring, quality control, technical management, and delivery.
  • Takes leadership initiative in working with all team members and all AECOM departments involved on a specific Project and achieve an integrated project team approach to the work.
  • Initiates and directs the planning, development, and continuous monitoring of the project scope, procedures, budget, and schedule for the packages of work to be supported by EC. Establishes metrics and KPIs to measure EC Project performance towards goals and objectives.
  • As an individual consultant, formulates and guides the attack on problems of exceptional difficulty and marked importance to the organization or industry.

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements

  • Proven track record of working on H&D Projects collaborating with international and multicultural teams.
  • 15+ years in Civil and Infrastructure projects; preferably H&D projects.
  • Experience with international regulations and standards (AASTHO; AWWA; Eurocodes; British Standards, etc.).
  • Good command of CAD/BIM/Digital Engineering techniques.
  • Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
  • Demonstrable management skills.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field.
  • US, UK and/or Australian professional license will be considered favorably.
