About the team you are joining


Reporting to the Assistant Director, Safety and Flight Operations (SFO), Europe, the incumbent will provide support in the areas of safety, flight operations, airport operations, Single European Sky (SES), Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) and air traffic management and user charges.

What your day would be like

Support the team in infrastructure-related activities in the European Region with a focus on the Single European Sky & ATM;
Support the team with the daily communication with relevant industry stakeholders, such as Eurocontrol and SESAR Joint Undertaking (SJU);
Help the team with IATA studies, cost models, planning and documents related to SES and SESAR Air Traffic Management issues;
Support the team with the implementation of different campaigns and follow-up activities with countries holding a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IATA;
Provide assistance with the organisation of Regional Coordination Group (RCG) Meetings in Madrid;
Prepare/coordinate meeting documentation and reports;
Support the team with the drafting of position papers;
Provide support to all colleagues in the department;
Other administrative duties, as requested.

We would love to hear from you if you have

Recently graduated or currently completing a University degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration or any other relevant discipline;
Some knowledge of air navigation, air traffic management, safety operations and financial analysis;
Excellent skills in research, report writing and creating presentations;
Excellent organizational ability and ability to prioritize tasks and to work in a team environment;
Excellent PC skills using Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Fluency in written and spoken English, knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
