We are currently looking for a Coordinator / Supervisor of the Instrumentation, Control and Electricity Team of the Combined Cycle Power Plant in CartagenaMission
Keep the Electrical, Instrument & Control systems in working order
Main Tasks
This position coordinates the works and activities to be performed by the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control technicians, under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager:
- Engineering oversight of all Electrical and Instrumentation, & Control related work products (calculations, design, specifications, etc) that have been developed by the Detailed Design contractor for the facility.
- Will have direct responsibility for review and approval of technical analyses and detailed design.
- Coordinate review of procurement of wiring/cable, control system, control panels, control valves, incountry contractor fabrication and installation efforts.
- Assist in the development of project execution documents, Design Basis Memorandum, Project Specifications, etc.
- Monitor the KPI ́S of the maintenance areas, cost estimating, budgeting, progress and schedule, and provide support to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of organizational processes and procedures and will assure compliance with approved processes and procedures.
- Planification, direction, and record periodic electrical, instrumentation or control systems testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
- Work with the Engineering department on the improvement and optimization of the efficiency and availability of the facility.
- Performance of preventive and corrective maintenance of the facility.
Minimum requirements
- Engineering degree or its equivalent (minimum Grade Superior FP)
- 10 years of experience, performing skilled work in instrumentation, electrical and/or control systems. At least 4 years' experience working coordinator/ supervisor
- B2 level english
Knowledge of:
- The safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electronic and electric test equipment as related to field and workshop; and safe work practices.
- Knowledge and skills to lead medium/large DCS/Instrumentation upgrade projects.
- Experience with commercial DCS system a plus.
Technical Skill in:
- Inspecting, testing, repairing, installing industrial electrical/instrumentation components according to established procedures and standards;
- Working from and interpreting wiring electrical and mechanical drawings;
- Being able to use of hand and power tools and equipment to test and calibrate instrumentation and controls.
- Making estimates of labor and materials.
- Diagnosing specific Instrumentation, electrical software and hardware
