    Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence

    We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at CiTIUS | Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías Intelixentes da USC in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

    This position is part of the USC-Plexus Chair in Artificial Intelligence applied to Personalized Precision Medicine.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the development of state-of-the-art analysis studies on the application of AI to healthcare, particularly in precision personalized medicine, including the design and implementation of AI models and validation and analysis of technological solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development of state-of-the-art analysis studies on the application of AI to healthcare, particularly in precision personalized medicine.
    • Design and implementation of AI models applied to precision personalized medicine.
    • Validation and analysis of technological solutions.
    • Requirement analysis, proof-of-concept design and development, technical reporting, and technical training.

    Evaluation Criteria:

    • PhD in Artificial Intelligence or related disciplines (requirement).
    • Accredited work experience in R&D activities in the field of artificial intelligence.
    • Scientific publications related to Artificial Intelligence in the field of health.
    • Academic or scientific prizes related to Artificial Intelligence in the field of health.
    • Stays in research centres related to Artificial Intelligence in the field of health.

    The candidate will be organized, hard-working, and have the ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary environment. State-of-the-art scientific facilities with equipped laboratories, our own data processing centre, and free access to the second supercomputing centre in Spain (CESGA), located on the same Campus.
