Job Description

We seek a seasoned professional to develop and implement strategies enhancing our customs clearance capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee customs clearance process for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage customs clearance documentation and procedures, including tariff classifications, valuation, and duty calculations.
• Liaise with customs authorities, agents, and relevant parties to resolve customs-related issues and ensure timely clearance.
• Stay informed about changes in customs regulations, tax laws, and rules, updating internal processes accordingly.
• Train and educate staff on customs clearance processes and requirements.
• Analyze customs clearance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.

Requirements:

• Completed degree in business administration, customs or similar, with relevant certificates.
• Relevant experience in customs, trade compliance, and logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of foreign trade/customs law, including import, export, export control, and sanction list screening.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, initiative, and creative drive.
• Project management, coordination, and teamwork experience.
• Fluent in English would be a plus.
