CEIT:

Ceit es un centro de investigación sin ánimo de lucro creado por la Universidad de Navarra en 1982.

El principal objetivo del centro es la realización de proyectos de investigación industrial aplicada mediante una estrecha colaboración con los departamentos de I+D.

Ceit promueve la excelencia en la investigación aplicada mediante la publicación de resultados no confidenciales y la participación en foros científicos y técnicos.

El centro también cuenta con un amplio programa de docencia de doctorado en el área industrial.

Job description:

The main objective of the job is to investigate solutions for the scientific and technical challenges regarding electric actuators for the aeronautic sector

Research into:

The implications of high voltage (HV) and altitude in the reliability and safety of actual systems and its technical solution.
New electric drives architectures and cooling systems towards high power density solutions.
Electric motor and power electronics integration.

The research will be conducted in close collaboration with a company from the aeronautic sector.

Doctoral thesis. Thesis should be completed in 3 years, but may be extended to 4.

Start date:
Inmediate.

Schedule:
winter: 7.75 hours per day

July and August:
6 hours a day (continuous).

Flexible hours:
check-in between 8:00 and 9:30, check-out from 4:15 p.m.

Possibility of continuous day on Friday.

Teleworking:
Option to telework 3 days per month.

Holidays:
23 days + Christmas holiday (24 Dec-2 Jan).

Requirements:

Degree:
Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering. Master degree.

Language:

English/Spanish.

Software:

Desirable:
Matlab / Ansys Maxwell / Altair Flux / Ansys Fluent / Ansys Motor-CAD

Other:
Interest in electrical machines

Desirable:
electrical machines design knowledge.
