New Job Opportunity - Environmental Scientist:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Toledo, OH. Looking to hire a mid level environmental scientist with a minimum of four years of related work experience. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.
Logistics of the Role:
Full Time - Direct HireOn SiteDay to
Day Activities:
Work on a wide variety of environmental compliance and natural resources projects as they relate to water resources, transportation and development projectsWork under the supervision of mid-level and senior environmental scientist and water resource engineersTake responsibility for assisting with environmental permits, NEPA documentation, biological assessments and other environmental compliance documentation Conduct ASTM/AAI compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) projects, which includes site inspections, research and interviews, data review and interpretation, and report writing.
Planning, coordination, and contractor oversight of various subsurface investigation projects Complete Tier I level technical reviews of various environmental assessment reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related Engineering degree 5+ years of experience performing ASTM/AAI compliant Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs Depending on the project: Ability to frequently travel on day trips Preferred:OSHA 40-hour certification and current 8-hour refresher certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
