About the client:

A leading pharmaceutical company specializing in products for the central nervous system, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified individual to fill the role of Head of Medical Affairs.

Job description:

The Head of Medical provides exceptional clinical and scientific leadership for medical affairs activities focused on MS. Head of Medical establish and maintain contacts with opinion leaders and he is third level Contact person for medical enquiries from doctors, pharmacists and/or patients for MS

Major Accountabilities:

Third level Contact person for medical enquiries from doctors, pharmacists and/or patients
Responsible for training of the sales force (conception of med. Training on new products and the development of onboarding training)
Supporting the sales force with external lectures and events

- establishing and maintaining contacts with opinion leaders; Planning and implementation of advisory board meetings, congresses, symposia, etc.

Medicalscientific support for the marketing of our product range, e.g., conceptual support in the creation of information, training and advertising material, its revision and medical approval
Internal advice on questions relating to the product range, regarding the development and marketing of new products.
Creation of med. Risk assessments in cooperation with the Quality Department
Cooperation with the Pharmacovigilance Division on drug safety issues
Responsible for handling Catalonia's key accounts

Requirements:

Experience:

35 years in Multiple Sclerosis and proven network with KOL
Ideally, first experience with CNS indications (neurology, psychiatry, pain therapy) as well as in the field of medical cannabis
Experience in literature review, clinical trials, and clinical pharmacology
