Nofence is a Norwegian scale up who has built the world's first
virtual fencing solution for livestock.

Virtual fencing is a pretty new thing to the world and we are currently leading the race, but _steaks_ are high when going for international expansion.

To make sure that we still _goat _the top of the podium we will need the best Office Manager for our team in Spain.

Our goal is to improve the welfare of the farmer, animals and the soil.

We want our product to be recognised amongst farmers as a tool as obvious as the tractor, and a technology for utilizing land resources as nature intended.

Since we are still in the early stages of our growth, you will have the opportunity to have a huge impact on how we build our Spanish team, and also how the position is defined as a part of our global Finance & Administration department.

About the Role:

The Office Manager plays an instrumental role in this, and forms part of the local management team in the Spanish business unit, together with representatives from sales, marketing and customer success.

In the global organisation you belong to the Finance & Administration department, which you will be working with closely.

As the Office Manager you are responsible for organising the local operations for an efficient and pleasant work environment. You will have two main roles.

• You will have recurring administration tasks and responsibilities as listed below.
• You will have an important role in making sure that your local team members are performing and have the support they need to thrive in the work space in close collaboration with the respective department heads.

To summarise, your key responsibilities will be:

• Facility Management.
• Onboarding of new employees.
• HR admin including expenses, payroll and holiday planning, recruitment, managing internal staff relations as well as streamlining administrative procedures, office staff supervision and task delegation.
• Implementing and maintaining health and safety policies.
• Contact person for 3PL & Accounting services/partners.
• Ordering and handle delivery of finished goods from Nofence AS in Norway.
• Inventory Management & Control.
• Management and financial reporting, including local OpEx budget.
• Reporting to group F&A on local performance, including attending regular review meeting with senior management.
• General administration.

The Finance & Administration department will develop and maintain global guidelines and routines.

As an office manager you will be a contributor to this work on a global level, but most importantly you will have the main role in how this is adapted to suit the culture and working methods of the UK and Ireland business unit.

• Relevant bachelor/masters degree or equivalent
• Experience with management, administration or equivalent
• Detail oriented and logical mindset
• Passionate about teambuilding
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work structured and independently
• Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
• At Nofence our working language is English, and excellent english oral and writing skills will be a requirement. For this role fluent Spanish skills will also be a requirement.

Managing livestock has always been a challenge.

Humanity has tried everything from herding with dogs to walling the animals in with barbed wire, electric, and wooden fences, but these are costly and time-consuming solutions and often in conflict with the local wildlife.

It has also left vast areas of potential pasture overgrown and underutilized.
