DevOps and Hybrid Cloud expert

Role Description

The DevOps senior architect would need to have at least 5 years of experience.
In this role, you will primarily focus on deploying IBM Cloud Paks and the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem for the customers on premise.
Discovery Workshops to discover customer environment discovery in terms of Cloud strategy, Critical Applications, IT Processes & Governance model, Security & Compliance Standards, DevOps maturity, and previous experience with Container Technology.
Initiation Workshops to deploy non productive Red Hat Openshift clusters
Cloudnative workshops to deliver principles of designing, developing, and delivering cloud
Architectural workshops to provide advice and guidance on the structure and highlevel principles of Cloud and Container platforms, define and design a production ready architecture in telco, banking, public sector customers.
Engage with customer experts and architects to envision midterm hopedfor architecture and take architectural decisions around logging, monitoring, security and compliance, high availability, back up and disaster Recovery, DevOps, define a delivery pipeline, third party Integrations.

Minimum requirements:

Experience (mandatory)

Expertise with Containers platforms.
Expertise with Kubernetes.
Expertise in Red Hat Linux administration.
Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible
Experience with cloud environments and virtualization
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, logging, monitoring, load balancing
Ability to succeed in a fastpaced, high demand environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills. English language skills is mandatory
Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation.
Exemplifies leadership characteristics in support of corporate objectives.

Education

RedHat certifications in Linux and OpenShift administration desired.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in DevOps and cloud.

Principle Responsibilities

Deliver workshops within the Adoption and Deployment phase of the Journey to Cloud roadmap
Deploy architectural designs and production ready Openshift platforms.
