Talented Mainframe Security Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Mainframe Security Specialist for a multinational banking leader in Madrid.

Main Responsibilities:

Enhance and improve z/OS STS security rules to ensure robust protection across all systems.
Deploy IAM solutions, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) specifics, across all partitions operated by PRODSEC.
Analyze, study, and implement an access-based model utilizing business profiles and technical profiles to optimize security measures.
Optimize workflows related to all requests outside of the IAM scope to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Define and implement a least privilege model tailored to user and admin profiles to minimize unnecessary access.
Oversee the global deployment of 2FA to control and secure all mainframe access points.
Document activities and generate detailed reports to maintain transparency and track progress.
Manage specific subjects and provide end-to-end follow-up in collaboration with the Security Mainframe PMO.
Contribute to steering committees and audits, including those conducted by IG, IBM, CAC, and others.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with z/OS and STS security rule implementation.
Proficiency in IAM solutions, particularly in environments requiring MFA.
Familiarity with access-based models using business and technical profiles.
Proven ability to optimize workflows and implement least privilege models.
Experience with 2FA deployment across mainframe environments.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
High English spoken and written fluency (B2/C).

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of audit processes and steering committee contributions.
Experience in the banking sector or other highly regulated industries.
