JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the role:

  • Lead and support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Incident management (IM)activities.
  • Assist in defining and executing the ERM & IM plan, coordinating meetings with risk and action owners, drafting reports, meeting minutes, performing follow ups on agreed actions and plans.
  • Reporting, managing, and monitoring potential risks or incidents that could affect our clients and suppliers during the ordinary course of business.
  • Avoid or minimize damage to HB's profitability, reputation, or ability to operate in a disruptive and/or unexpected event undertaking investigations and/or preventive measures.
  • Enable critical business functions to continue operating following a major incident and maintain an acceptable level of operations until "normal" activity can be resumed (e.g., business continuity plans, etc.).
  • Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Help to establish and communicate ERM & IM vision across the organization.-
  • Assist in implantation of a bespoke ERM & IM Infrastructure.-
  • Integrate ERM & IM with strategic management process.-
  • Assist in developing and communicate ERM & IM policies.-
  • Establish, communicate, and facilitate use of appropriate ERM & IM methodologies, tools & techniques.-
  • Establish and follow-up an appropriate framework to facilitate collection and analysis of data and information.-
  • Facilitate sharing of ERM & IM best practice across the organization.-
  • Provide guidance to functions while acting as a centralized resource center.-
  • Proactively engage the Risk Champions to monitor & report the risks, build tools & processes, drive risk informed decision making and enhance risk informed execution.
Ensure that a comprehensive and continuous risk identification process is in place. Monitor and report the progress of Mitigation Action Plans. Ensure that cultural issues with respect to ERM & IM are effectively managed. Monitor the Top entity level risks.
Communicate and collaborate with internal customers to identify and capture the risks and interpret and translate them into actionable plans to solve them, assess the impact of the risk and assist with the development of the risk mitigation plans, trainings, communication plans and post implementation risk avoidance monitoring, report to the Delivery function management the progress on the risk mitigation plans, collaborate with Hotelbeds Compliance Team, understanding company's policies and providing updates and manage stakeholder alignment and communication at various levels across multiple business areas. Liaise, negotiate and make decisions with business and technical stakeholders across all Hotelbeds' businesses and areas to identify and capture the risks and interpret and translate them into actionable plans to solve them. Manage open investigations about incidents or other critical events affecting Hotelbeds' clients as well as make sure that actions are developed for similar events or circumstances being prevented from occurring in the future to the maximum extent possible, including follow up actions with suppliers. Designing, reviewing, and updating protocols in the framework of Enterprise Risk Management, Incident Management and BCP, Such as: Business Continuity Plan; CRIM, Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances Protocol; Incident Management Guidelines; Pandemic Plans, Travel and Expenses policy; Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan; Emergency on the Spot (among others) and checking periodically than the communication flow is effective and the information accurate and available in coordination with the relevant stakeholders (Operations, IT, Sales, Sourcing, Procurement etc.). Be able to design and implement risk policies and break these down into efficient processes and monitoring metrics, whilst working on multiple projects across Hotelbeds' multicultural teams and multiple businesses.
