MISSION OF THE SITE:

Support the business by adding value in the development of new products or in the improvement or optimization of existing products in the portfolio.

Characterization of composite polymeric materials.

MAIN TASKS AND POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Characterization of polymeric materials using a wide range of analytical techniques: scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetry (TGA), dynamomechanical analysis (DMA), atomic force microscopy (AFM), etc
Responsible for the design and conduct of experiments for the development or improvement of custom polymeric compounds. Including the design of a test and procedure plan, data analysis and communication of results.
Develops, under advice, products that meet customer specifications, quality specifications and operating standards
Makes good use and maintenance of tools, machinery and facilities.
Strictly follow all safety specifications at work, as well as use all available individual and collective protections. Alert your supervisor of any risks or shortcomings that you detect in the workplace.
University degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
It is valuable to have Master's degrees in specialization in the field of polymers or materials science.
Valuable previous experience in characterization of materials and in the use of the different analytical equipment (SEM, AFM, optical microscopy, DMA, DSC, TGA, ASAP, Nanosizer, etc.)
Ability to work with uncertain problems and without marked direction. Analytical ability and ability to work autonomously.
Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar position.

Essential high level of English. Proficiency in other languages will be highly valued.
