Our client is an international company specialising in the turnkey construction of commercial, industrial and large-scale solar installations.

They have been a key-player in the solar photovoltaic market for more than 20 years and have established themselves into one Germany's top EPCs and project developers.

They are actively looking for an experienced CAD Design Engineer, who will be responsible for quotation and execution planning using CAD and create these for photovoltaic systems for the Spanish and Iberoamerican Markets.

It is a permanent role, work location is at the company's HQ near Mannheim, Germany.

CAD Design Engineer - Solar (m/w/d)

Field: Renewable Energy
Location: near Mannheim, Germany. Relocation required

Your Responsibilities:

Preparation of offers and detailed implementation plans (AutoCAD) for photovoltaic systems (industrial rooftop and groundmounted systems) for the Spanish and Iberoamerican markets
Clarification of technical questions with sales engineers, construction managers and partners
Preparation of bills of quantities and planning of rooftop and groundmounted systems, taking into account the applicable standards
Support in the further development of our planning processes and systems

Your Profile

Successfully completed training as a construction draftsman or construction technician or studies in civil engineering or similar.
Alternatively, you have already worked as a construction draftsman, technical draftsman, technical system planner, CAD planner or planning engineer
Sound professional experience in the planning of photovoltaic systems
Very good user skills in AutoCAD are required, good user skills in PVspecific planning tools such as PVCase, Helios 3D and PVSyst are an advantage
Spanish and English are mandatory
Independent and resultoriented way of working

Salary: 50,000.00€ - 55,000.00€ per year
