WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


As Business Developer you will support the definition and execution of the Segment strategy, being a key point of contact with other areas of CIB regarding Segment strategy.

You will play an important role with businesses and countries regarding strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to set the strategic agenda of the division by proposing and preparing materials for the Head of Segment; and take responsibility for delivering the underlying strategic projects
  • Oversee and monitor the strategic planning processes for Segment
  • Monitor strategic priorities and the budget achievement at business and country level
  • Analyze industry data and trends to provide insights to management and industry groups
  • You will manage monthly reporting and provide analysis of financials and deal pipeline
  • Close collaboration and engagement with Senior Management to push local and global initiatives
  • Provide close support to Global Head of Segment for his managing role, senior management presentations and meetings
  • Ensure the appropriate execution of internal governance procedures
Provide support to Segment bankers on a daily basis with presentations for client meetings, market and industry analysis, and other ad hock requests


Education:


  • Undergraduate degree from a toptier business/engineering university as well as a strong academic performance
  • MBA or CFA Charterholder is a plus
  • 56 years of experience in Banking, Strategy Consulting or comparable job

Technical skills:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
  • Autonomy and ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative works environment
  • Ability to manage several assignments simultaneously and to assign priorities under challenging timetables and short deadlines
  • Professional maturity, commitment, rigorous and detailoriented
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office with strong focus in MS Excel (financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required (ability to interact with global stakeholders on a recurrent basis). Other languages are a plus.
