- Review and optimise suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, and availability.
- Approve purchases of highquality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in accurate quantities.
- Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Provide guidance to staff on resolving issues related to undelivered or defective goods.
- Train team members on negotiation, renegotiation, and contract administration methods.
- Collaborate with staff, users, and vendors to assess defective or unacceptable goods and agree corrective actions.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify areas requiring change or improvement.
