    Position Overview:

    The Manager, Global Data Enablement is a core member of the Compliance and Technology Integration (CTI) team reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Management, Health Care Global Operations (HCC). The Manager Global Data Management partners with the CTI leadership team to develop the strategy and drive execution of the CTI portfolio including system development, configuration, deployment, support and governance, and access. The Manager Global Data Management supports all HCC Operations functions (Global Transparency Reporting, Global Assessment and Consulting Services etc.) and the HCC teams across all sectors (Med Tech and Innovative Medicine) and all functions (Supply Chain, R&D etc.).

    The Manager, Global Data Enablement is responsible for data management activities including:
    • Requirement gathering and documentation of HCC data needs
    • Understanding of regional processes, needs, and projects
    • Incident and Problem Management including Root cause analysis
    • Demonstrated technical ability with data storage initiatives, data extraction/blending tools, and data processing including technical coding/scripting
    • Understanding and experience with the following concepts:
      1. Master Data Management (Supplier, Customer, Organizational, and Product Master)
      2. Data glossary/dictionary
      3. Data models, ontologies and taxonomies
      4. Data and systems landscape oversight and mapping
      5. Data extraction and storage, access/control, governance, and documentation


    Tasks Responsibilities:
    • Assist and partner with various levels of the HCC organization to develop and implement a multifaceted, risk-based data and systems management strategy to ensure maximum efficiency of data capabilities to enable the HCC functions to assess, mitigate and manage risk across all HCC and relevant Enterprise systems.
    • Ensure that team is aligned to overall vision, key priorities and results. Enable a team culture of innovation, accountability, development and constant learning. Partner across regions and functions to share best practices, train others and drive efficiency and teamwork.
    • Solid grasp of the work of the CTI team globally and across segments; grounding in R&R of the HCCOs, develop business acumen.
    • Demonstrate Operational Excellence mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
    • Craft the internal and external environment by leading or participating on other assigned special project teams or industry working groups related to testing and monitoring.
    • Partner with leaders and work across regions to help to shape the organization's vision, mission and strategy to ensure maximum value to our stakeholders through efficiency, innovation and value-based delivery.
    • Other duties: Project management, budget management and planning, meeting planning/organization, administrative activities related to self (e.g. Concur, Travel mgmt. etc), other duties as assigned by HCC Management.
