We are currently seeking a

Buyer Assistant, to join our team based in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, to lead the purchasing activities for national clients.

Main accountabilities:

Issue the bidder list for every Request for Quotation,
Compile and issue the call for bid and expedite the acknowledgement of receipt of bids,
Expedite the bids,
Issue the Bid Opening Form,
Evaluate commercial submission and clarify, if required,
Attend to the bid clarification meetings, if any,
Coordinate with the specialist engineer,
Negotiate bids up to final proposal
Prepare a Commercial Bid Tabulation and forward to Project Procurement Manager,
Prepare and issue the ORDER and expedite ORDER acknowledgement,
Attend the Kick-Off Meeting (when requested),
Prepare the amendment to Orders,
Prepare and issue final Supplier's evaluation for feedback with respect to general commercial contractual obligation reflected in ORDER.

Profile:

Must have:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical purchasing management in industrial projects or inspection of equipment / facilities in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and / or gas.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Negotiation skills.
