    Workday is growing its Global Payroll Team and looking for a highly skilled Senior Payroll Analyst to contribute to the organization's expansion.

    The Senior Payroll Analyst role combines technical expertise, project management, and employee relations. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, preparing international payroll instructions, and supporting internal projects. This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for people, project management, and problem-solving.

    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing with strong data integrity

    • Prepare monthly payroll instructions for international vendors

    • Audit payroll results to ensure accuracy

    • Assist with balance sheet reconciliation queries for payroll accounts

    • Familiarity with and adhere to SOX controls for international payroll

    • Assist with payroll and statutory audits

    • Prepare year-end documentation

    • Track new hires, terminations, and employee changes

    • Ensure direct deposit and tax details are set for new employees

    • Provide feedback and solutions to employee queries related to internal payroll

    • Lead projects to migrate third-party payroll providers to integrated solutions

    • Support cross-functional projects with payroll partners

    • Reconcile payroll taxes and resolve tax notices

    • Partner with other teams to implement process improvements

    About You

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years accounting, finance, tax, or payroll experience

    • 2+ years international Payroll experience

    Other Qualifications

    • Experience with international accounting a plus

    • Workday Payroll software experience a plus

    • Project Management or Implementation experience preferred

    • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and follow-through

    • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills

    • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Works well within tight deadlines

    • Collaborative team player

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong leadership skills
