To achieve this goal, we are establishing a
'Value-based Health (VBHC) area' within our
Market Access & Public Affairs (MAPA) Department and we are looking for its new Head.

The position
As the
Head of our Value-Based Healthcare area, you will
set the strategy and the team direction to ensure the development, planning and execution of innovative initiatives & solutions that support the evolution of the Spanish Healthcare Eco-System into a more patient-outcome centred approach.
This team will also drive the Operational Excellence within the MAPA Department, so you will act as a catalyst of the cross-functional collaboration.
The VBHC Head will be a member of the affiliate MAPA Leadership Team.Among your main responsibilities, you will:
- Define the VBHC affiliate strategy aiming to address the unmet needs of the Healthcare Eco-System to improve efficiency of the patient journey from the Prevention, Diagnosis and Disease Management
- Keep up to date with new market trends and identify and engage with key stakeholders to understand their priorities, objectives, and willingness to implement VBHC initiatives. As a result, promote solutions to generate new opportunities to drive a valuebased healthcare.
- Develop the organisational understanding of the VBHC strategy across the organization and a consistent and aligned market access approach by leading and coordinating activities with crossfunctional teams at different levels.
- Team leadership: foster the team to take ownership, be creative and act boldly, coach and share feedback, understand, and identify training needs, ensure team wellbeing and motivation.
Qualifications
- Robust understanding of healthcare and reimbursement systems and market access dynamics with
solid experience developing and implementing valuebased healthcare strategies and tactics (Prevention Programs, Early Diagnosis, Real world evidence studies, Healtheconomics & Outcomes ) within a Pharmaceutical or Consulting company (at least 57 years of experience) - Previous experience leading teams (line or functional management) will be an advantage.
- Fluent in English and in Spanish.
- As a person, you are innovative and willing to challenge the 'statusquo'. By using your communication skills, you enjoy sharing knowledge and educating others. You are a natural leader with strong crossfunctional collaboration skills. You are passionate about driving change and generating an impact on society.
About the Department
Under this role, you will be part of the Novo Nordisk Spain MAPA (Market Access & Public Affairs) management team, reporting to its Senior Director.
MAPA covers different areas and engages diverse stakeholders across Political and National & Regional Healthcare landscape (Health Administration, Patient Associations, Media) to forge sustainable initiatives and solutions that drive patient access towards its innovative medicines and devices.
You will lead a team on 2-3 VHBC Managers and collaborate with a wide range of internal colleagues to achieve our company goals.
