- Design, modify and optimize monoclonal antibodies against proteins of interest.
- Mastery of tools and methods to increase antibody properties and modalities (ph-dependent antigen binding, ADC formats, bi-specifics).
- Identification and monitoring of key suppliers and scientific management of research lines focused on extracellular degrader development with external collaborators.
- Background in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology or biotechnology.
- At least 2 years of experience in antibody design, discovery and development, including bispecific antibodies and ADCs.
- Experience in engineering antibodies with improved properties (e.g., affinity, solubility, and other attributes related to developability) - Experience in peptide-antibody, antibody-small molecule bioconjugation techniques.
- Hands-on experience in site-specific conjugation techniques.
- Linker and payload optimization experience.
- Experience in traditional and emerging antibody discovery techniques, such as display technologies (phage, bacterial, yeast, etc.) or in silico discovery and generation with machine learning (ML).
- Experience in efficient cloning processes and enhanced protein expression systems.
- Knowledge of protein purification (IEX, SEC, etc.), affinity determination techniques (SPR, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.) and biophysical characterization of antibodies, bispecific antibodies and ADCs.
- PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of antibody-design AI-driven approaches will be valuable.
- Minimum English level of B2.
