Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring adherence to ETL principles and alignment with business objectives.
• Address complex data challenges to provide insights that support business goals.
• Develop data products to enhance the productivity of analytics and data science teams.
• Foster a culture of sharing, reusability, scalability, stability, and operational efficiency in data and analytical solutions.
• Evaluate, implement, and deploy cuttingedge tools and processes in analytical data engineering to enhance team productivity.
• Code, test, and document modifications or new implementations in data systems, ensuring robustness and scalability for data analytics.
• Implement necessary security and recovery measures.
• Collaborate with the Data Science Lead and developers to ensure consistency across data solutions.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Solutions Architects to craft technical architectures for strategic projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Engineer, specifically in designing ETL pipelines.
• Must have experience in the following areas:
• Utilizing Spark and Python for data processing.
• Writing SQL scripts for data manipulation, conversion, analysis, and patching.
• Designing and writing ETL/data migration scripts.
• Conducting requirement gathering for data pipeline projects.
• Involvement in all project lifecycle phases (requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, deployment, and testing) within a SCRUM and AGILE development practices.
