    As the Connectivity Engineer you will be responsible for deploying and implementing Baxter connected solutions for all business units (FLC, PSS and GSS). You will provide support to customers, service providers and sales, primarily related to the systems and solutions such as Connex CSAS/NCE, Cardiopulmonary (WACC & Mortara), and other products.

    Primary scope of geographical area is Europe – but you may need to provide services in other parts of the world.

    What will you be doing?

    • Providing pre-sales technical assistance, conducting projects/site surveys and define implementation requirements including specific installation, training, networking and/or integration needs.
    • As the need arises, performing project management and resources coordination for complex system implementations.
    • Performing remote (sometimes on-site in a hospital or clinical setting) activities such as software deployment / configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Pre-Sales support delivering Proof of Concept to customers.
    • Network troubleshooting (hardwired or wireless).
    • Potentially conducting field and scheduled training of BioMed's and/or service providers as needed.
    • Creating and maintaining required documentation per standard operating procedures and as advised by the supervisor.

    Who are we looking for?

    • A min 2 years experience with connectivity solutions with either an Engineering , IT or Electronics bachelor's degree.
    • Excellent communicator who understands customer workflow requirements and accurately articulates HRC capabilities.
    • Customer and team-oriented person, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with technical knowledge of wireless shielding issues in a medical environment and working understanding of the issues affecting medical device deployment in a hospital/clinical setting.
    • An expert who has wide understanding of networking (LAN, WLAN, RLAN, etc.), solid understanding of Wireless Protocols IEEE A B G N) and MSSQL database.
    • A person understanding the HL7 framework (and related standards) for the exchange, integration, sharing and retrieval of electronic health information is a must.
    • A professional who has experience in project management, resources coordination and system integration skills.
    • Fluent English is a must, knowledge of German will be a plus.
    • Willing to travel if needed (up to 5%).
