General description:

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Financial Project Management Technician for the Research Projects Management Unit.

Responsibilities

Assist Principal Investigators with the financial management of European research projects.
Carry out toplevel management of a portfolio of funded R&D projects with regards to all administrative, contractual and financial matters.
Check and monitor budget expenditure both at project and partner organizations' level.
Assist in the preparation of detailed interim and final financial reports.
Maintain a full awareness of ICIQ's policies in relation to broader research and innovation related issues.
Liaise with the Research Projects Department, Human Resources Unit and Finance Unit on matters relating to policy and procedure.
Support the work of the Head of Project Management as and when necessary.
