The Associate Client Manager (ACM) will support the current Client Management Team to develop and implement strategies in order to maximize the potential of business derived of our clients.

The ACM should collaborates very closely with the local Client Management Executive and Client Managers, underwriters, and other staff and members of other Munich Re business units in the creation and execution of business initiatives projects, including the support in the delivery of new products and value added services.

The ACM serves also as additional point of contact for internal and external clients with respect to different needs, projects and business initiatives created in the division.

S(he) is co-responsible within the CM Team for the reinsurance results generated through the client relationship.

Your job

Develop deep understanding of the client(s), including its structure, KPIs, strategy and main business objectives.
Ensure consistent understanding of target objectives and internal strategy for achieving desired outcomes within the team and the Divisional Unit.
Over the time s(he) should build relationships with client staff that can provide strategic insights on evolving internal and external needs and value derived from the Munich Re relationship.
Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders developing a strong networking to attend in a better way, client needs and to identify trends and new business opportunities.
For this purpose, monitoring of results and business development, mastering the different corporate tools and sources (BAnD, PGO, Actuals, other type of Dashboards, etc.) and use and care of the MRclient CMinformation and management systems (One View).
Periodic analysis of Client KPIs (Balance sheet, Investor and Analysts Reports, etc ) in order to monitor client developments and to detect trends and business opportunities for MR
Support in planning, definition and monitoring of new or current business initiatives through the defined system (Microsoft Planner).
Support for the organization and execution of client teams
Contribute, as needed, to marketing activities and other initiatives to develop new products / services or improve operating effectiveness.
Strong support in the preparation of the different interannual client meetings (Strategic Dialogs, Friendship meeting, etc )
Proper preparation of the interannual renewal periods, including coordination with UW for new offers and existing programs to be renew
Serve as additional point of contact within MR CM-Team with respect to internal and external client requirements, supporting client relationships on a daily Basis, (special acceptances, wording issues, etc), establishing MR's position consistent with our segmentation
Develop general knowledge of the full Munich Re Group product and service range, as appropriate for the client's needs.
Develop technical Non Life knowledge for a better understanding of business solutions, Reinsurance programs and client needs.

Profile:

Degree in Business/Insurance and/or equivalent
3 to 5 years of professional experience in the (Re)insurance industry and/or Consultancy, (Re)Insurance Accounting / Financial Analysis/ Underwriting,
Familiarity with accounting, finance concepts
Basic knowledge of insurance and reinsurance principles and procedures
Analytical capabilities
Mastering in using Microsoft Office Tools
Very proactive and entrepreneurial spirit
Interpersonal and social skills
Effective communication skills with ability to interact with local and international teams
Strong willingness to develop networking, to share information and collaborate with other colleagues and units
Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
Enjoys working in a constantly changing and fastpaced environment.
