What to Expect

  • The Inventory Control Analyst will be a key member of the Tesla Southern Europe & MEA Distribution organization. This team focuses on the efficient and effective Distribution of Service & Energy parts supply to the service centers, vehicle collision repair partners, and Tesla customers.


The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for controlling and monitoring the Inventory accuracy and stocking quality within the DC operations either in-house or 3PL Also to ensure 3PL DC operations are meeting and exceeding the agreed performance standards in her/his assigned area of responsibilities.

Where applicable, is also responsible for the proper registration of work done into our company system(s) and for creating relevant reports to assist management.

Will cooperate closely with in
- and external stakeholders. A key responsibility for this will be to supervise the performance of Tesla's local (3PL) warehouse partner. The employee will be also the key contact for any inventory question within the Tesla entity. The main objective is to ensure Tesla's performance targets are met by the warehouse partner.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor the operational Activities within Spain Region
  • Guarantee of Inventory Accuracy, storage quality, damages, and parts claims
  • Ensures all assigned KPIs and agreement commitments are fulfilled
  • Validate, create, change, and/or implement current and new SOPs / KPIs to optimize/ improve operations and service levels (validates and addresses potential contract/BRD constraints/ issues).
  • Act as main point of contact towards 3PL, evaluate 3PL operations in the field of Inventory control
  • Coordinates where needed cycle counts processes and performance
  • Supports claim handling and resolution of claims related to inventory discrepancies
  • Works together with Return operations on ensuring reuseable parts storage
  • Reconcile inventory variances due to missed transactions, engineering changes, repair order changes, and improper setup of item master data parameters
  • Research root causes of inventory discrepancies and identify process, system, and training improvements
  • Report, analyze, and drive improvements to reduce obsolete inventory
  • Generate inventory forecast reports for the PDCs within the EMEA region
  • Combining the required parts for the region and ordering them in batches at the correct PDC to save on shipping costs and improve the efficiency level
  • Addresses and ensures immediate action and resolution of discrepancies and performance issues with 3PL on operations.
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with LSPs, making sure Tesla's interests are served to the maximum
  • Ensures and initiates regular updates and reporting to management on operations
  • Escalates functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and leaders.
  • Keeping up to date with local/international regulations that may impact DC operations. Involves required stakeholders and leads/drives resolution process to avoid/ mitigate the impact on inbound operations.
What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting/managing (3PL) warehouse operations in a complex and dynamic, preferably automotive, service parts distribution environment.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control.
  • Proven Inventory Control experience in the logistics direction
  • Spacious users' knowledge of a warehouse management system
  • Good and analytical insight into logistics processes
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Access), high capacity in Excel
  • Fluency in the English language at a professional business level.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations
  • Selfmotivated, critical thinker, resultoriented, quick learner, as well as a multitasker.
