Position Purpose:

Stericycle Spain is seeking to fill an
HR Business Partner vacancy in our Human Resources Department, based in Madrid.

This role will provide a full range of human resources guidance and advisory support and services to our business units in Spain.

The HRBP is expected to enhance the image of the HR function with a professional, proactive, customer focused approach, both internally and externally, and assist in the overall growth and expansion of Stericycle.

The HR Business partner develops and supports people management strategies, actions and initiatives that are in line with the company's Mission, Vision and Values, and are focused on the attraction, retention and development of our employees.


Please note that this is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.


Key Job Activities:


  • Lead, coach and develop managers and employees within the designated region. Support communications to ensure managers and employees are appraised of business initiatives, news and other matters of interest.
  • Strategic HR management support in relation to recruitment, employee issues, absence management, performance management and capability issues. Promote and ensure best practice is adhered to in line with procedural guidelines.
  • Support management with the implementation of the Performance Management Program.
  • Support the implementation of organization changes, including providing input to the review of various organization designs, documenting position descriptions, developing compensation recommendations and rolling out the changes.
  • Support management with compensation and reward and recognition programs, including annual merit reviews.
  • Support implementation of global and Europewide projects and initiatives.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree and specialized HR training. At least 2 years' HR generalist experience.
  • Good working knowledge of English (C1 level)
  • Fluent in Success Factors.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Available immediately.
