In a moment of complete transformation, we need to grasp and boost the power of Innovation and Digital Strategy (IDS) to translate them into knowledge and impact on the healthcare ecosystem.


This role is key to help transform the company towards the goals defined by the Strategy & Business Transformation Office (S&BTO).

The Innovation & Digital Strategy (IDS) Transformation Consultant is part of the BEx team, reporting to the Business Excellence Lead.

He/She/They act as a single point of contact between IDS and S&BTO, with the objective of:


  • Identifying the expertise and resource needs required for strategic transformation projects, ensuring the involvement of key roles within the S&BTO
  • Facilitating the transition of strategic transformation projects from the design phase to the implementation and execution phase (Business As Usual), ensuring an orderly handover of the corresponding activities to IDS responsible areas.
  • Contributing to build an organization driven by Innovation and Digital Strategy fostering transformation and culture change.


This role should also guarantee the sustainability of the strategic transformation projects implemented, ensuring accountability and compliance with service levels to internal client areas.

All this, to contribute to the achievement of company objectives.


Typical Accountabilities

Strategy and design

  • Demonstrates strong curiosity with a multidisciplinary approach. Performs effective cross functional leadership and team change management skills.
  • He/she is a core player for the effective leadership, management, and cross collaboration of the Business Excellence team.
  • He/she is responsible for establishing an Internal strategic consulting model, focusing on the implementation of the IDS strategy across the team
In the design of strategic transformation projects defined by S&BTO:

  • Provides support in the prioritization of workstreams contained in the S&BTO strategic transformation project portfolio, in close collaboration with the S&BTO Lead.
  • Coordinates with IDS areas on the selection of required roles, providing them with objectives, activities to perform and other necessary information
  • Contributes to design projects, providing crossfunctional IDS vision. Acts as a point of integration and collaboration for AZ brands, in order to ensure full 360degree approach to account management.
  • Tracks progress and contribution of IDS roles in strategic S&BTO transformation projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery of committed deliverables
  • Monitors and ensures the progress of the work lines under the responsibility of the IDS team and S&BTO tem, as well as the progress of the projects coled by IDS.

Execution & Business Performance
In the implementation and execution of Business As Usual (BAU) of strategic transformation projects:

  • Identifies and prioritize together with the S&BTO & IDS Directors those activities to be transferred and executed in Business As Usual mode
  • Defines a handover plan together with the S&BTO and the IDS receiving areas/roles, ensuring:
  • Adequate training to IDS BPs and provider areas/roles for the execution of each activity (content and target service levels to the client areas)
  • Communication and coordination of the handover with client areas
  • Leads the handover plan, coordinating all the roles involved and ensuring an orderly transition
  • Monitors and documents on the progress of the handover activity

In the sustainability of strategic transformation projects:

  • Ensures accountability and fulfillment of required service levels (in time and quality) in the execution of activities led by IDS.

Innovation and Digital Strategy and Culture

  • Supports the creation of a decisionsbasedindata approach across the organization.
  • Generates high level of accountability on implementation and cascading of working model, and execution timelines.
  • Contributes to the CoE performance with deep knowledge of health ecosystem insights and strategic consulting acumen.
  • Promotes the creation of a customercentric approach.
  • Transfers a strong and competitive digital mindset across the team, projects and communications.
  • Creates a culture of curiosity towards impactful innovation, bringing knowledge, skills and capabilities from other sectors to the team.

  • Complies with all external regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensures that all activities related to the role and the unit comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and Code of Conduct).

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

Essential

Desirable

  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or business and Masters on a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Pharma Business and/or Strategic and analytical experience in consulting or strategic projects, or in commercial roles.
  • Experience in different functions across Pharma business
  • Proven experience in setting
