As a Product Manager at Alight, you will work cross-functionally to guide-products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.

You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and work closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc.

to help design and develop technologies that improve our consumer experience.


The Product Manager for Payroll Controls will be responsible for the continued evolution, and future innovation of, Alight's proprietary payroll platform.

As a strategic thinking, tactical decision maker, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and delivering outcomes that power confident client decisions.

You will reimagine internal controls and solution feature functionality that further drives efficiency and productivity, enforces compliance, increases payroll accuracy and timeliness, and elevates client confidence in the end-to-end payroll process through intuitive and actionable user experience.


Key Responsibilities
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:

  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies.
  • Develop AIbased solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of product management experience such as creating strategic product roadmaps and working with crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience driving product vision, gotomarket strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience managing daytoday technical and design direction.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
Experience

  • Previous work experience in the payroll industry with strong payroll background in one or more countries
  • Thorough knowledge and proficiency in working with bestinclass HR and/or payroll and/or benefits solutions
  • Prior experience in Jira Align, Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft project (or equivalent), Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrated learning agility.
  • Ability to interact in technical discussions with IT stakeholders.
