Descripción
At HP, our ambition is to become the world's most sustainable and just technology company.

Sustainable Impact is fundamental to HP's reinvention journey - fueling our innovation and growth, strengthening our business for the long term, and enabling us to develop and deliver the best solutions for our customers.

We are committed to developing and delivering an environmentally sustainable product portfolio, improving the sustainability of our own global operations, and partnering with our suppliers to reduce their environmental impact.

We believe that our actions should address some of the greatest challenges we face as a society, including climate change, human rights, and digital equity.

We are proud of the progress we have made on our Sustainable Impact commitments but know there's still more work to do.

Over the next decade, HP will stand for a new era of progress— where climate change is reversed, human rights are universally protected, and digital equity democratizes opportunity for all.

This is an opportunity to be part of that journey and to make a real positive and sustainable impact.

Mission

You will actively contribute to ensuring compliance with sustainability legislation within our Global Sustainability Compliance Team. Focusing on transforming our processes, tools, and organization, you will play a key role in delivering efficient sustainability compliance.

This involves supporting the development of automated compliance management tools, optimizing external detection services, and helping create an end-to-end view of the implementation status for sustainability requirements.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our team at HP to track, influence, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements, covering areas such as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), batteries, packaging, eco design, waste shipment, materials, climate, supply chain responsibility, ESG, and the circular economy.

Your efforts will help ensure that HP products are safe, legally compliant, responsibly manufactured, and exceed sustainability expectations for our customers.

This graduate role offers an exciting opportunity to develop sustainability knowledge, gain hands-on experience in managing compliance, and become an expert in key sustainability regulations and themes.

You will be part of our Global Sustainability Compliance Team based at HP's Barcelona office in Spain. English language skills are required, and Spanish or French proficiency is desirable.

  • Support our sustainability compliance team to ensure HP products and services are compliant with sustainability regulations and legislation.
  • Help us deliver efficient and effective sustainability compliance through transformation of our compliance processes, tools, and organization.

  • You may also support the team by developing draft policy analysis and compliance instructions that will be used to keep internal teams aware of the new legislation and convey the key requirements to the relevant implementation teams.
  • By working closely with our team, you will develop your sustainability knowledge, your experience of managing sustainability compliance and your expertise of key sustainability regulations and themes.
