We are looking for a
Junior Commercial Project Manager to join our business administration team.

Working in the business administration team, the objective is to keep the projects on budget, within the Siemens guidelines and customer satisfaction but also to continuously look at improving contracts' profitability.

The role includes undertaking detailed financial analysis, contract reviews, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

The role has NO direct reports.


What are my responsibilities?

  • Ensure, implement and manage standard policies, processes and procedures and compliance with the LoA guidelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP ensure compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local GAAP requirements of international and local contracts.
  • Ensure all related project reporting and controlling activities in local and international contracts / projects under your scope.
  • Ensure that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimize the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
  • Support and control of claim management, risk management and NCC topics jointly with the Project Manager
  • Actively communicate with customer's commercial representatives and manage solving of commercial / finance issues (if requested).
  • Communicate financial results and key drivers to management

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in a finance related field
  • At least 2 years of commercial project management and/or finance experience
  • Solid knowledge of performance controlling, sales and project execution
  • Solid knowledge of calculation methods / finance models / forecasting / project controlling
  • Basic knowledge of accounting (IFRS) and taxation principles
  • Knowledge of Siemens business processes, policies and procedures
  • Experience in handling BA tools, e.g., SAP, SAP Business Warehouse
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced Excel skills
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and oral skills), German is plus
  • Proactive, teamwork & collaboration skills, good communication and negotiation skills, ability to work cross functionally between departments
  • Strong analytical skills are a must
  • Multicultural working experience is a plus
