A Financial Analyst in Corporate FP&A is responsible for conducting moderate to complex financial analysis such as sales and profitability analysis, monitoring of functional spend, calculation of FX impact and will provide financial support and thorough understanding of business, operation or functional performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Financial Analysis and insights and support to the IFF business and functions

• Report daily and monthly sales results and profitability to the IFF Senior Leadership team

• Monthly/Quarterly consolidation and submission of price, volume, currency analysis

• Monthly/Quarterly preparation of Operating reviews

• Participate in key Business Finance projects to further automate, standardize and improve business finance activities

• Actively support and maintain an environment for strong internal controls

• Participate in the preparation/development of the Strategic and scenario planning

• Participate in the preparation/development of the quarterly forecasting and yearly budget processes

Job Requirements

TO BE DEVELOPED ON THE JOB:

This role builds upon existing analytical skills and system knowledge and provides an opportunity in developing key competencies such as business acumen, decision making and strategic planning. The role will demand strong ability to recognize, explore to help explain variances, trends and deviations from plan, and will require the individual to be operate a tight network in each business for clear trends understanding.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Languages: Fluent English written and spoken a must.

• Experience or strong ability to learn and operate in various IT environments (Enterprise Planning Modules, SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power Point, Power BI, ..etc).

• Strong ability to understand and simplify complex problems.

• Strong analytical skill, including data management.

• Experience in project work and implementing processes.

• Ability to organize and prioritize.

• Strong attention to detail a must.

• Excellent communication and networking skills are a must: ability to operate efficiently in a cross-functional environment and multi-disciplinary global teams.

• Self-starter and proactive, with high desire to solve identified issues and ability to challenge status quo

QUALIFICATIONS:

• EDUCATION: Finance or Economics degree.

• EXPERIENCE: minimum of three to five years of experience in Finance, experience in Business Analysis is a plus.
