Inhouse Consultant SAP Finance & Controlling - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

As in-house SAP Consultant with Project Management expertise, you are working on SAP roll-out projects as internal consultant in your area of specialty of SAP Finance and Controlling. You will also support our SAP ERP platforms in your area of expertise as a member of the SAP Center of Excellence.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

Facilitating, Coordinating and contributing to feasibility studies
Understanding business processes and business requirements and creating functional specifications for implementation
Responsible for Finance and Controlling objects data migration scoping, data migration programs specification, data migration testing and cutover execution.
Responsible for system build, thus hands on configuration skills are required
Responsible for solution design and contributing to harmonization initiatives
Incident and Request resolution
Contributing actively to problem management and challenging incidents or change requests on the strategic SAP platforms
Providing or assisting with training of (Key) Users
Preparing Test Cases and Test Scripts and carrying out the Integration testing as a part of the project delivery
Maintaining user and system documentation and incorporating changes as needed / appropriate
Keeping up to date with industrywide trends and best practices (both process and technology)
Ensure proper rollout / implementation of ERP rollout projects for your area of responsibility
Identify and manage actions related to communication, training, master data management, etc. arising from and in connection with projects, both within and outside the IT community

What you bring to Sulzer:

A strong portfolio of experience with SAP Finance and Controlling as a consultant, especially in Product Costing and Profitability Analysis
Bachelor or master's degree in technical or business studies or equivalent experience
Worked within the manufacturing industry
Experience from at least three successful SAP rollouts where you handled Finance projects as your specialist area
Experience in customizing in Finance modules, and understanding integration with other modules like PS, SD and MM
Good process understanding and ability to be able to support SAP best practice approaches within different templates
Internal consulting skills and facilitation skills
Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly and to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
Experience with Open Text, xSuite or Basware Vendor Invoice Management products is considered an advantage
Experience in Electronic Bank reconciliation and automatic payment program is a plus
Experience in SAP BTP, Fiori, Multi Bank Connectivity, S/4HANA preparation, New GL, Business Partner conversion, etc. will be considered as an advantage
