Under minimum supervision, perform sophisticated quality controls.

Inspects to extremely close tolerance and Supervises all forms of quality control inspection, sampling, testing, and control of components, products, and raw materials to meet established quality standards, either in the raw state or after various stages of manufacturing.

Supervises the use of various kinds of measuring instruments and the use of chemical tests. Provides output on analytical process. May facilitate trainings, operate as part of a team.
