Let's Get Down To Business

Capco is looking for a Cloud Developer, someone who focuses on developing applications for the cloud to work with our all-star team and deliver value to our clients in the financial services space.

About the Role

Responsibilities

Independently interacts with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyse, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers

Works towards diagnosing client challenges and implementing innovative solutions

Builds solutions that are supportable and scalable

Designs solutions, develops appropriate artifacts / documentation, and facilitates final delivery

Collaboration as part of an Agile development team, participation in daily stand-ups, identification of blocking and critical path steps

Work closely with the Core Engineering and Product teams, identify and recommend ways to standardize configuration and move towards a generic platform

Preparation of specifications and documentation for all software developed

Experience

5+ years in a developer role, develops applications for the cloud

Previous leadership and delivery experience considered an asset

Strong understanding of the following:

C#, .NET

Kubernetes

MS Azure

Rabbit MQ

SQL/Mongo

nSericebus

Possess working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and application lifecycle management

Ability to discuss and strategize technical solutions

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, enabling cross-business teams

Ability work in fast-paced environment while following best practice and company process

Highly driven and passionate about technology, product development and product success

Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions

Excellent oral, listening, and written communication skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, Self-motivated, proactive, and driven team-player attitude
