About the Role:

We are looking for a EMEA Analytics leader (f/m/d) to join our Medical team in Barcelona who will collaborate with Global/Regional counterparts to share regional specifics to inform Global strategy and best practices sharing.

It will be accountable for implementing global Analytics strategy in the EMEA region, establishing governance for the effective management of data, reporting, and analytics priorities for the MPD EMEA Sales and Marketing organization.

Will work to establish meaningful strategies and tactics for successful operation of the MPD EMEA Analytics Team in alignment with EMEA SaM goals, while articulating a compelling vision to SaM Leadership on the value of Analytics for the Region.


This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Global/Regional Analytics Leaders to align on global strategy, best practices, BI tools, key technical platforms, and internal/external partners
  • Drive strategy of Analytics in

MPD EMEA:
Roadmap, alignment, change management and education

  • Lead a team that evaluates data, that recognizes trends, calls out insights, and makes recommendations to the EMEA MPD Sales and Marketing leadership team to support both Sales and Marketing strategies
  • Articulate the complete value of Analytics for the Region driving required investments beyond headcount (i.e., the required automation, tools, etc. needed for optimal success)
  • Responsible for the longterm growth and evolution of the MPD EMEA Analytics team including appropriate design of organizational structure, scope of responsibilities and focus; ensuring the right mix of growth opportunities for Associates, coaching, and creating a culture of empowerment with accountability; and successful translation of overarching business goals into specific objectives for team members
  • Ensure that defined role expectations are met, including the formulation and facilitation of meaningful performance & development goals on an annual basis, as well as championing additional skill development for each team member as needed for overall team success
  • Ensure awareness and approval for global investment planning with the MPD Analytics Leader—including creation of sub functional plans and strategies for the EMEA Analytics Team that are in alignment with overarching EMEA SaM and MPD Analytics goals and objectives
  • Manage all required external vendor relationships related to EMEA Analyticsspecific activity as required for successful execution of EMEA Analytics strategies, coordinating with the other MPD Analytics subfunctions where needed
  • Establishes clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and acts immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, information technology, finance, or businessrelated discipline, with 3+ years of work experience in data strategy and acquisition, Sales/Marketing analytics, statistical analysis, commercial information management, strategic consulting and/or other analytical work
  • Prior successful people leadership and global experience, including highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of disciplines
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data management and data platforms, statistical modelling packages, relevant business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and general office productivity software (such as Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrated superb multitasking and delegation skills with the ability to direct key changes through leadership and mentoring along with the genuine willingness to be "handson" with the required work as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong teams (including external partners, and other key relationships) as well as appropriately influencing others and successfully navigating significant change management activities while driving for positive results
  • Strong knowledge of the roles of other functions (Sales Leadership, Marketing Leadership, Sales Operations, IT) and how to optimize the partnership with each function is required
  • Intellectually curious, highly analytical, and purposefully innovative in developing solutions while leading teams to deliver analytical excellence to internal customers, demonstrating strong analytical skills including the handson ability to trans
