Purpose of the Role

  • To increase the customer base of the company
  • To increase the market share of the company's product with distributors

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for direct sales and sales through distributor for international market
  • Manage the sales funnel to hit goals through effective deal strategizing
  • Responsible for the forecasting and sales tracking for international market
  • Assist operational sales staff with the conversion of cold queries to sales
  • Take full responsibility for proposing and organizing sales promotion events.
  • Present sales, marketing, reports along with opportunities to the management.
  • Conduct competitor analysis by keeping abreast with market trends and competitor moves to achieve market share metrics
  • Evaluate business opportunities and potential markets by conducting market research
  • Determine annual sales and gross profit plans by implementing sales and marketing strategies
  • Maintain sales volume and product mix
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Analyze and update the competitors' strategy for the better support of the sales team
  • Along with the management, drive overall company's sales strategy
  • Sustainable market expansion and development
  • Ensuring penetration in the entry level segment and exploring the potential of the country
  • Create and update the training scheme for the operational and field sales staff
  • Assist in recruiting of sales staff
  • Handling customer issues and working towards absolute customer delight
Qualification and Experience

  • Considerable experience of at least 10 yrs or more, leading sales and marketing activities for a medical devices or pharmaceutical company.
  • Currently in a sales management role with experience of working globally, with impressive sales growth record including marketing plan development, selecting and managing distributors and key account management.
  • Possess good leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and impact people and results remotely
  • Experience in managing multiple distributors is highly desired
  • Excellent poise and confidence when interacting with physicians, hospital administrators, and sales staff
  • Requires frequent travelling
The client deals in medical devices for last 3 decades and has presence in 30+ countries.
