Our opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Full-stack Engineering Manager to oversee and manage the maintenance, configuration, and deployment of our Knowledge Bot Platform for various business units.
Our mission is to power insurance services that understand the user's input, reason over it, retrieve the right information from various sources, and enable natural language interactions.
Your role
As a Full-stack Engineering Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
- Working in a SCRUM team with designer, frontend and backend developers.
- Maintenance and development of cloud infrastructure: You'll need experience with AWS DevOps and AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
- Deployment and maintenance of backend services: Requires Python, AWS CDK, and Linux knowledge.
- Collaborating with other teams for API integrations between services.
- Management of Zurich's AWS account and user access: Proficiency in AWS console.
- Management of Atlas/MongoDB account and user access: Knowledge of Atlas and MongoDB.
- Promoting best practices, coding conventions and sharing of knowledge in the team.
- Conversational AI compliance with IT service controls: Experience with IT service control compliance.
- Used technologies and frameworks: React, Typescript, Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, AWS, Azure Entra, OIDC, Red Hat OpenShift, Azure Devops pipelines, Jira, Confluence.
Your Skills and Experience
As Full-stack Engineering Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- A proven track record of successful project/product implementation with mínimal of 47 years of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and Test Driven Development.
- Extensive experience with Machine Learning, including MLOps.
- Strong experience with AWS DevOps, AWS CDK, JavaScript, React, Linux, Python, and bash.
- Proficiency in one or more frontend framework (HTML5 / Angular / React).
- Has Handson Test Driven Development experience and able to author Unit, Integration and Functional Tests.
- Experience with bringing AI solutions into production.
- Experience with cloud and system architectures and their related tools.
- Strong understanding of AWS deployment servers and EC2 instances.
- Experience with PlanningIT/Alfabet, Okta, MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
