  • Purpose
The detection, responding to and management of data leakage incidents, improvement of data leakage monitoring and prevention for data in-rest / data at-rest and protection confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information assets

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Subject matter expert for SIEM implementation across the company.
  • Verify data flows, troubleshooting issues, and monitor the health of the SIEM infrastructure including servers to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Supporting developing solutions for ingesting log sources in large volumes.
  • Evaluate and deploy methodologies to deliver threat detection capabilities
  • Monitors, investigates, and responds to data leakage or breach incidents in accordance with established procedures, supports / follows up remediation activities and records the incidents and action taken
  • Recommends required actions and supports / follows up to ensure these are implemented
  • Communicates information security risks and issues to business managers and others
  • Identifies and proposes opportunities for process / policy improvements to increase maturity
  • Assists in developing / finetuning data leakage monitoring policies to reduce false positives and/or to increase detection
  • Assists in developing policies, procedures, and documentation
  • What we are looking for:
  • Full stack developer with experience in OpenSearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, Elastic Common Schema (ECS).
  • Previous experience scripting ability to include one or more of: Python, PowerShell, BASH, YARA, Ruby, Perl
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipeline operations or management
  • Handson experience in Index Data, Kibana Queries, Aggregations, Mappings.
  • 35 years' experience in information security or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and investigative mindset
  • Teamorientated, while able to complete tasks independently and autonomously
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and information security controls/frameworks
  • Fouryear college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English
