Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to work across our EMEA region. You will be supporting the Regional Finance Controller and the regional management for Wunderman Thompson EMEA.

You will also work with other finance teams across EMEA, helping to develop and a maintain first class finance function.

The main objectives of the role is to track and review all compliance and reporting activities across the region, ensure their timely and accurate submission and provide insightful analysis.

As part of our team, you'll provide support to various markets, handling inter-company queries, generating reports and ensuring compliance (SOX knowledge is a plus).

You'll also manage multiple reporting tasks, including statutory accounts, reconciliation, and IFRS 16 (leases).

What you'll be doing:

Have oversight of the group reporting for a number of key EMEA markets.
Ensuring integrity of financial reporting and in accordance with WPP policies and IFRS.
Liaising with the WT Global finance team on reporting matters.
Reviewing with the markets monthly, quarterly and annual submissions including month end results, budgets, forecasts and client profitability.
Building knowledge of the markets including business issues and perform riskbased financial analysis.
Supporting Controllers and Finance Manager's with areas of the EMEA reporting and compliance process for the whole region.
Technical accounting support for markets and special projects
Producing management reports for markets.
Supporting markets with their SOX compliance and ensure compliance at a regional level.
Adhoc projects for senior EMEA finance management.

What you'll need:

ACA / CIMA /

ACCA:
part, or fully, qualified

Relevant degree with 5 years+ work experience
International experience and other European languages will be an advantage
Advanced Excel skills (ability to write Macros and Power BI will be advantage)
Use of a consolidation tool such as Cartesis / SAP BFC
Experience in risk & compliance (ideally SOX)
Strong accounting experience in IFRS, management accounting, analytical and process review.
Proven ability to form strong relationships with colleagues
Proven ability to learn quickly
