This organization runs a Platform-as-a-Service that is globally consumed by millions of customers worldwide, and you will be part of SRE team.

The team will monitor, automate and manage incidents for a variety of data-driven digital products.

You will play a critical role in developing patterns for infrastructure builds that speed up our Product teams ability to deploy services repeatedly, and pursue reviews of platforms for continuous improvement of the service and stability.

The impact you'll make:

Monitoring, analyzing and understanding what is happening within our services. Measuring services through SLIs and SLOs is vital to our success.
Refining monitoring patterns and integrations with new and existing services.
Developing CI / CD pipelines for improvements within the platform.
Acting as an escalation point for incident management covering our critical products.
Providing support to teams during postmortems and complex triage.
Developing Disaster Recovery tests, creating the patterns for recovery and leading game days.
Defining cost optimisation patterns and developing automation to support them.

Technology Stack:

AWS (ECS, Cloudwatch, Lambda, Data related services: Redshift, S3, RDS with PostgreSQL)
Datadog, Prometheus, Dynatrace or similar for observability and monitoring
Docker and ECS
CI/CD such as Bitbucket / git, and Bitbucket pipelines
Python, Bash
Snowflake
Apache Airflow

What you'll bring to us:

You'll have experience working in an SRE team
Youll have experience working with datadriven products
You have an enthusiasm for site reliability engineering including knowledge of SLIs/SLOs, how they impact and benefit services
You're able to drive automation as a solution to manual processes and be capable of explaining the benefits
You'll have indepth understanding why teams have servicelevel objectives and how to implement/monitor this with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Dynatrace or similar.
You'll have deep experience with AWS all major technologies within AWS (ECS, Cloudwatch and Lambda) and you're able troubleshoot complex issues within AWS networking
You have a good understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework, and help proactively reduce costs of infrastructure associated to data operations
You have good knowledge of container software, Docker and ECS
You'll have practical experience with CI/CD such as Bitbucket / git and Bitbucket pipelines
You'll be able to demonstrable experience with coding or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
You should be proficient with Snowflake
Excellent English communication skills.
