About the Role:

Are you a Disaster Recovery Specialist with a passion for accelerating resiliency and seeking the opportunity to work for one of the leading companies in the reinsurance industry?

You will work with a diverse team of talented professionals supporting with managing IT Resilience effectively for critical systems and data.

In your role, you:

Support the Cyber Recovery team in designing and implementing robust Cyber Recovery measures to combat both traditional and emerging threats, including cyberattacks and severe scenarios like Ransomware.
Assure effective Cyber Recovery procedures and conduct regular testing for critical systems and data on both, onpremises and cloud systems, ensuring swift response and mínimal downtime.
Establish EndtoEnd views on critical IT Service Value chains for scenariobased restore and rebuild prioritization.
Ensure Cyber Recovery capabilities are enforced and integrated into Disaster Recovery Plans, meeting business as well as regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of Cyber Recovery readiness within the IT community through awareness training.

About the Team:

We develop and maintain IT Continuity-, Resilience
- and DR- capabilities to mitigate the risk of unavailability and enable prioritized recovery of Critical IT Services in the event of a major disruption with mínimal impact to critical business processes.

Our team ensures that these measures are effectively embedded within the organization and considers modern and best-in-class operating models and tech environments (Cloud, SaaS, Dev(Sec)Ops, IaC).

Your qualifications
Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of Disaster Recovery we'll be more than happy to meet you

Must Have

Expertise in IT Continuity, Disaster Recovery (DR) Management, and Business Continuity Management (BCM), with demonstrable experience in DR Plan development and execution.
Relevant certifications such as BCI, DRII, CRISC, CBAP / AAC or equivalent knowledge.
Proficiency in developing recovery strategies, backup and restoration processes, and understanding of security principles for cyber threat recovery.
Excellent English communication skills, able to convey complex technical information effectively.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Cloud Literacy, DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and familiarity with cloud platforms for recovery.
Experience with Isolated Recovery Environments (IREs) and a passion for Agile principles.
