About this opportunity


We are looking for a highly experienced Operational Consulting Leader to lead the Orchestration & Automation Consulting Practice and to be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team.

Location - Potential locations to be based included Western Europe; States; Canada; India.

For this position, we need a highly regarded leader with strong expertise in Telco Orchestration, Analytics & Automation.

This includes a strong understanding of Orchestration and Automation from Operational Perspective well supported by understanding of underlying technologies (such as Cloud, SDN and NFV etc.).

In this role, you are expected to bring in solid expertise and experience in the Operating Models - process, organizational, metrics and systems - as it relates to various aspects of:

  • 5G Business Opportunities e.g., operational impacts of Private Networks, Network Slicing, etc.
  • 5G Operations e.g., NOC/SOC processes, Assurance, etc.
  • 5G Technologies e.g., Orchestration technology evolution / roadmap.

What you will do

  • Drive the global P&L and key objectives of the Orchestration & Automation Consulting domain
  • Strong capability to work with technology professionals
  • Sales and Solution Architects and identify Consulting opportunities
  • Identify leading consulting value propositions / offerings in the Orchestration & Automation Consulting domain, develop innovative consulting offerings and manage the global portfolio of offerings
  • Develop Operational consulting related opportunities, contribute to consulting proposals and Guide / Lead delivery of consulting projects / programs across the globe
  • Engage as thought leader at CxO level.
  • Lead, develop and grow the Orchestration & Automation consulting team comprising senior members
  • Manage stakeholders in Consulting communities across geographies
  • As a Leader within Global Consulting Team, actively think and contribute outside your domain to reach overall Consulting objectives, and business success.
  • Provide highvalue industry insights to Ericsson's strategy process, using delivered projects and developed assets

You will bring:


  • 15+ years of professional experience including strong experience in consultancy type roles selling and delivering consulting projects.
  • Proven capability to sell and deliver Operational Consulting projects with the business mindset
  • Ability to create plans to align operational strategies with business ambition. Highly experienced in formulating transformation strategies and defining transformation journeys.
  • Proven ability to excel in factbased storytelling. Strong influencing skills and ability to shape a direction and set actions.
  • Strong people and team leadership skill
  • Previous experience leading Consulting business, Consulting practice and Consulting teams, including P&L accountability
