- Setting up Hawk-Eye technology in the Replay Centre
- Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
- Liaising with support staff, match officials and tech guarantees on-site
- Operating the systems during the match
- Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues
- Taking full responsibility for our system on-site and being an ambassador for Hawk-Eye
- Completing post-match reports for client delivery and to improve future operations
- During the off-season, building and maintaining our hardware and equipment
- Assisting with installation and testing of new products and services
- A strong technical grounding, ideally with or studying for a degree in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or equivalent experience working with technology or in broadcast
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong understanding of the laws of football
- Bright and enterprising, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
- Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment
- Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner
- Fluent in Spanish
- Ability to liaise with other Hawk-Eye Innovations employees in English

ABOUT THE ROLE»
We are recruiting freelance Replay Operators to join our expanding football department in Spain. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology as part of a passionate and dynamic team.
The role will encompass the set-up and operation of our Video Assistant Referee technology for La Liga matches. You will work directly with match officials, responding to their requests for replays and quickly delivering them the best possible camera angles to make crucial decisions in real-time. Working hours are predominantly scheduled around match times, over weekends and occasional midweek evenings.
