ResponsibilitiesMaxLinear is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible to design, implement and maintain the main frontend/backend/database component of a cutting-edge Automation Framework inside the company.

In this role, you will focus on the following areas:
Be the reference person to take technical decisions regarding frontend, backend and database (both relational and non-relational)

Propose new solutions and evolve the system to accommodate the needs of the different projects inside the companyWork inside a multi-disciplinary team based in Valencia in touch with the technical leads of the different chipset teams, based all around the worldWork closely with DevOps teams to integrate and support test frameworks into CI/CD flowProvide solutions to scale infrastructure to support multiple software configurationsProvide infrastructure solutions to meet QA and Development teams workflowsLearn how infrastructure is deployed and implement new deployment featuresQuality Assurance:

Maintain a high standard of quality for all deliverables, by implementing best practices for testing, code reviews, and documentationInnovation and Research: Encourage and lead innovation and efficiency improvements, taking advantage of the latest technologies in the market.

QualificationsBacked development experience, ideally in Python/DjangoFrontend development experience, ideally in ReactDatabase management and integration, specially relational databases as PostgreSQLBasics of security (users credentials management, access to resources)Good scripting skills (python, bash/shell, groovy) and comfortable using CLIExperience with Git and repositories managementStrong communication and collaboration skillsFluent in written and spoken EnglishBSc in Computer Science or related with +5 years of experienceMSc in Computer Science or related with +3 years of experienceA plus but not required:
