IT Infrastructure Engineer to be part of our IT Operations area


AXA Partners aims at becoming AXA Group preferred networks & service company and a powerhouse for partnerships development as a founding entity of AXA Partners.

A key enable for this business transformation will be the Infrastructure Engineer in charge of the delivering and maintaining infrastructure services and solutions for all entities within the region.

In partnership with business units, local IT team, operations, security, BCM and ITSCM areas, the role holder oversees the local infrastructures operations, ensure that delivery expectations are met (On Time, On Business, On Scope, On Quality) and infrastructure solutions are aligned against target architecture, group standards and security guidelines:

  • Estimated number of users to support: 1.300
  • Estimated number of IT Solutions and services to manage: 10 to 20
  • Infrastructure landscape:
  • Servers (VMWare, VxRail)
  • Networks (Cisco, CheckPoint, VPN)
  • Storage (Dell)
  • Backup (Avamar, Veeam)
  • Telephony: Fixed (Avaya) and Mobile Telephony (iOS & Android)
  • Windows Ecosystem (W10, Active Directory), Microsoft Collaborative Platform (O365), SCCM, MDM
  • Size of Internal IT influential area: 5 to 10 people

How would your day to day be with us:
As a IT Infrastructure Engineer at AXA Partners Operations area, you will be responsible for run and manage the local Infrastructures, contribute to the applicative strategy on his/her perimeter and be part of the regional IT community

  • Ensure Axa Partners' infrastructures perform efficiently, seamlessly, and securely within agreed metric and controls.
  • Act as the principal point of contact on IT security topics in Spain by building fruitful relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support (L2) and assistance for the infrastructures and services within the region.
  • He / She validates that policies and procedures utilize best practices, technological standards and are efficiently documented.
  • Provide KPIs and reports on business demands and projects progression, attention / decision points.
  • Ensuring the excellence of solution analysis, implementation, test, deployment, and rollback plans.
  • Preserve assets availability by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control standards.
  • Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards such as Change Management, Incident and Problem Management, among others.
  • Manage external partners and oversee relationships to ensure first class IT services, ensuring suppliers provide appropriate support, but ultimate ownership, decision making, and documentation is owned and overseen through the internal team.
  • Create and maintain 7*24 environment assuming strong SLA on infrastructures, systems, and services.
  • Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing new IT solutions.
  • Proactively conduct technology research and provide new technologies and methods utilization proposals.
  • The role aligns the core infrastructure and security environments within the organisation with to the overall company strategy and core company competencies.
  • Take part in the community to develop best practices and new standards.
  • Take part in the training sessions to develop required hard/soft skills.
  • Cooperate with the IT Ops team regarding the operation, management and delivery of other services and solutions within the IT technical landscape (workplace, systems, networking, virtualization, security, backup, storage, etc).
  • Cooperate with Global IT Security teams to standardize and deploy global security initiatives locally.
  • Cooperate with Global IT Operation teams and SOC in the resolution and followup of security request and incidents.
  • Cooperate with financial analysts in estimating the costs and benefits of new solutions.
  • Partnership with Application Development, Security, BCM and ITSCM to build and run solutions that meet business expectations.

Your Profile

Technical Skills and Experience:

- +5 years' work experience as an Infrastructure Engineer operating enterprise-scale infrastructures and related services.

  • Possess extensive handson experience delivering, operating, and maintaining infrastructures, including servers, networks, firewalls, cloud computing, windows ecosystem, backup, databases, etc.
  • Experience / knowledge of industry Information Security standard frameworks, such as ISO 2700
  • Experience in IT Project & Service Delivery management.
  • Familiarity and understanding of Infrastructure Architecture and Operations.
  • Solid experience in defining implementation, deployment, test, and rollback plans.
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation.
  • Ability to conduct cost / benefits analysis.
  • Knowledge in ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
