- Develop and program PLC systems using Siemens TIA Portal, with a strong emphasis on STEP7.
- Design, implement, test, and commission PLC software for new machinery and process automation projects.
- Program and integrate machinery and automation equipment to ensure seamless operation within the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery control systems.
- Lead and manage automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Prepare technical documentation, including functional specifications, operation manuals, and test plans.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative automation solutions.
- Stay current with advancements in PLC technology and industry best practices.
- Ensure all PLC programming and automation activities comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, FDA).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in PLC programming, with a focus on Siemens TIA Portal and STEP7.
- Proven experience in programming and integrating machinery within an industrial or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong understanding of control systems, HMI, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET).
- Proficient in electrical schematic reading and interpretation.
